Jellies has returned to training for the Badak team

KOTA KINABALU. Coach Jelius Ating has taken charge of the Sabah Football Club after a good performance in the Super League yesterday while head coach Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto is away from the field for an indefinite period.

Gelius, who left the team earlier in the season, has finally been called up as the team's back-up manager, after team manager Marzouki Nasser announced on Monday that he would be sacked.


Last night, the manager was seen training with the Sabah FC players on the Likas Sports Complex artificial pitch and was accompanied by the coaching staff including interim boss Burhan Aju.

Sabah FC III (President's Cup) coach Johnny Dominicus was also in training and is expected to help the coaching staff following the cancellation of this year's President's Championship and Youth Cup.


Jellies' presence has been well received by the players and is said to be a good move by the coach to restore the current situation at Sabah FC.
