KOTA KINABALU: Mohd Sahrijan's Saidin Sabah goal gave Sabah their first ever Malaysia Cup win to help them beat Kelantan 2-1 at Likas Stadium last night.After learning, Badak was almost disillusioned when Kelantan's Che Mahd Safwan Hazwan fumbled wide in the fifth minute.
Datuk Ong Kim Swee's men were lucky to equalize two minutes later through striker Amri Yahya.

A seven-minute net late in the first half tied the score at 1-1 before the second period was reversed in the last minute.
In the second half of the match, Sabah went on attack after attack but couldn't get any good results until the 90th minute.
Sahrijan, who is also a midfielder, became the hero when he managed to save the Kelantan goalkeeper in the final minute of the game before the referee gave four minutes of extra time.

The 2-1 decision went into extra time and allowed Sabah to record their first victory in front of around 5,000 fans as they revived their chances of losing the Malaysian Cup.
