Epic Sabah Battle, JDT tickets go on sale online tonight

Kota Kinabalu. Tickets for the Malaysia Cup Football Group D match between Sabah FC and JDT Likas Stadium on October 29, starting at 6.30pm, today (October 23).


Sabah Football Association (Al-Safa) head of the Ticket Tax Authority (SFA) Shamsuddin Muhammad Shah said only 6,348 spectators entered the stadium as per standard operating procedures.

Only 6,348 fans were allowed into Likas Stadium to watch the Malaysia Cup match between Sabah FC and Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) on Oct 29.

This amount is based on the Standard Operating Procedures issued by the National Security Council (NSC), Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Youth and Sports (MBS) as well as the Malaysian Football League (MFL) following the resumption of the State Stage. Plan (PPNulihan).


Sabah Football Association (Safa) door and box office manager Shamsuddin Muhammad Shah said tickets will go on sale to the general public online from 6.40pm on Saturday.


He said tickets to watch the game can be purchased directly from the sesawang website at https://ticket.tickethotline.com.my/home.


The ticket price for open seats according to zone A is 18 rubles and for zones B and C - 22 rubles, the ticket price for "standing" seats is also 35 rubles.

However, only fans or spectators who have been vaccinated for more than 14 days can enter the stadium.

"In addition, during the match, spectators should cover their faces and refrain from activities while in the stadium," he said in a statement given to the media today.

Shams El-Din, who is also an expert on the Supreme Council of Seif, said that children under the age of 18 are prohibited from entering the stadium, as stipulated in the Political Security Authority issued by the ruling party.

He said the guidelines are important and must be followed to ensure that all parties together follow standard operating procedures to avoid the outbreak of COVID-19 and any untoward incident.


Shams El-Din also advised spectators to limit their movement and always observe physical distance from their seats while in the stadium.

"Furthermore, spectators are prohibited from congregating or waiting for players outside the stadium and are encouraged to leave the stadium immediately and regularly after the match ends.

"Spectators are also encouraged to enter the stadium as early as 18:30 to avoid crowding at the entrance," he said.
